Did you know!?

Did you know that before they had arenas for los corridas (bullfights) in Spain they would have the corrida in the Plaza Mayor of the city. In Salamanca they would close the doors to the Plaza and everyone would watch from the balconies in the plaza. Also in Salamanca there is a street called Toro that I take to the plaza and to class everyday. This street is called Toro because this is the street that the toros (bulls) entered in for the corrida. I found this so interesting! My teacher said that not many people know about this little fact. I can't believe I walk down that street everyday and just found this out! It is so cool!
