Pool time :)

Yesterday I finally ended up going to the pool. I went with Janie, Alli, and Katherine. As soon as we got there it started to get cloudy…just my like right? It was still nice at the pool and we stayed all afternoon. Everyone told me before I left that the Spaniards dress a little more conservatively. Maybe they were thinking of some other people because that is not really the right word to describe how they dress. Yes they don’t wear short shorts all the time but they do wear a minimal amount of clothing they just look more put together. Also they never wear sweats or gym clothes. Also I noticed everyone wears a bikini. I don’t think I saw anyone wearing a one-piece while we were at the pool. The Spaniards are also very affectionate and sometimes it can be a little too much PDA. Haha.

We left the pool when it looked like it was going to rain. This was the first time that it ever rained and it only sprinkled for about 5 minutes. Seriously everyday I have been here it has been mostly sunny and hot. Katherine wanted some churros so we stopped at a place to get some. They had Wimbledon playing so of course I was happy since I have been deprived of my daily ESPN fix.

After churros I came back and hung out at my place until dinner, after dinner I went out with Alli to an outdoor jazz concert. It was so cool. It is still hard to get use to the fact that everyone stays up late here. The jazz concert started at 11pm! That would not even happen in Ann Arbor. After the jazz concert I met up with Janie and Katherine. We just wanted to start off the night by chilling somewhere so we went to this bar called Berlin that I heard was a cool place to go. They had a mean mojito! After we went around all night meeting up with people and dancing. It was a lot of fun. I stayed out until 4, which is still early for a Spaniard, but I need to go back I was so tired! I just woke up today and now I am just hanging out until lunch then after I plan on going to the pool with Rachel.
